Atlanta Receives $60,000 in Donations to Assist with Local Pandemic Recovery
ATLANTA – December 17, 2020 – CenterState Bank today announced it has donated $500,000 in COVID-19 relief funds to non-profit agencies across the Southeast. Of those funds, $60,000 will benefit 10 charities located in the greater Atlanta metropolitan area.
“CenterState Bank and it’s merger-of-equals counterpart SouthState Bank have always been known as community-focused financial institutions that place a high value on community development and helping those in need in the communities we serve,” said Stan Kryder, Atlanta regional president at CenterState. “That philosophy drives us, especially in the midst of the pandemic, and we hope these Atlanta-based organizations will benefit from these donations to assist in the recovery of our local economy.”
The following Atlanta organizations will benefit from CenterState’s COVID-19 relief donations; Atlanta Community Food Bank, Atlanta Community Kitchen, Atlanta Dream Center, Covenant Community, HomeAid Atlanta, MUST Ministries, Open Hand, Our House, Sweetwater Mission, The Edge, and The Extension.
