What is the difference between the Direct Connect and Web Connect?

Every time you want to reconcile your accounts, you log into your CenterState Bank Online Banking and manually download a QuickBooks-compatible file to your computer. Then you simply import the downloaded file into QuickBooks.

DirectConnect

Direct Connect QuickBooks connects you directly to the website. All you need to do is click a button and enter your login and password. DirectConnect retrieves your statements and uploads them into QuickBooks, ready for you to reconcile at your convenience.

  • Provided for a monthly service charge.
  • Requires Bill Pay.

How do I disconnect my Intuit Direct Connect?

To disconnect from Intuit Direct Connect please use one of the following: NOTE:  All transactions must be matched or added to the register prior to the deactivation of your account(s).

QuickBooks® for Windows Direct Connect

To Deactivate Your Quickbooks Account(s) at CenterState Bank

  1. Choose Lists menu > Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select the account you want to deactivate.
  3. Choose Edit menu > Edit Account.
  4. Click on the Bank Feed Settings tab in the Edit Account window.
  5. Select Deactivate All Online Services and click Save & Close.
  6. Click OK for any dialog boxes that may appear with the deactivation.
  7. Repeat steps 2 – 6 for each account at CenterState Bank-NEW.
  8. Backup your data file.

QuickBooks® for Mac Direct Connect

To Deactivate Your Account(s) at CenterState Bank:

  1. Choose Lists menu > Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select the account you want to deactivate.
  3. Choose Edit menu > Edit Account.
  4. In the Edit Account window, click the Online Settings button.
  5. In the Online Account Information window, choose Not Enabled from the Download Transactions list and click Save.
  6. Click OK for any dialog boxes that may appear with the deactivation.
  7. Repeat steps 2 – 6 for each account at CenterState Bank-NEW.

How do I get the Intuit Web Connect? Our Intuit Web Connect is already available and free if you have a CenterState Bank Online Banking Account.

  1. Log in to your CenterState Online Banking application via your computer,
  2. Select the Personal Settings link at the top of the page,
  3. Click on the Intuit Tab,
  4. Select Web Connect,
  5. Next Select the Account and Date Range you wish to download,
  6. Finally, Import the file into your Quickbooks.

What is considered a valid WebConnect file to import?

Allowable WebConnect file to import are the following:

  • .qbo (QuickBooks)
  • .qfx (Quicken)
  • .ofx (MS Money)
  • .csv (MS Excel)

How can I import this data in WebConnect?

  1.  Go to “Transactions>Banking”
  2. On the Banking page, click the “Update” drop-down arrow in the upper right corner and select “Upload”.
  3. Click “Browse” to select the Web Connect file from their computer and click “Next”.
  4. In the drop-down menu, select the bank or card account to upload the transactions to and click “Next”.  If you don’t have an account set up yet, click “Add New” in the drop-down list and add an account.
  5. If you’re uploading a CSV file, you’re prompted to select columns from the CSV file that match QuickBooks banking fields. Click “Next” when you’re done.
  6. Click “Finish” to return to the Banking page and begin reviewing your bank transactions so you can accept them into QuickBooks.
