What is Mobile Touch ID?

Touch ID is a simple, secure way for you to access your CenterState Bank Account via our mobile banking app using your iPhone (5S to Current), iPad or Android device using built-in fingerprint sensory technology instead of the traditional login credentials.

Is any additional hardware required to enable Mobile Touch ID?

No additional hardware is required. However, you must have Touch ID enabled on your Apple or Android device in order for it to work.

How does Touch ID work with my CenterState Bank App?

Upon enrolling for Touch ID within the CenterState Bank App, you will have the option to log in using your fingerprint authentication or if you desire using your CenterState Bank username and password.

Is my fingerprint information stored? Does CenterState Bank have access to it?

Touch ID fingerprints are stored on the device and never leave it. Furthermore, they are encrypted with a key that is only accessible to the device. Our Mobile Banking App cannot access the actual fingerprint. It can only determine if the fingerprint is valid or not.

How do I enable Touch ID on CenterState Bank Mobile Banking App?

Using the newest version of the CenterState Bank App, upon successfully logging into the app with your Touch ID supported device, go to the Menu Options > Personal Settings > User Profile and Select Manage Touch ID. When you register, you will be prompted to enter a name for the device along with the username and password.

Can I use my username and password if I’ve enabled Touch ID?

Yes. Please keep in mind that your username and password will still be required when accessing your account on a non-enabled Touch ID enabled device, just select Cancel on the Touch ID prompt on the app login page.

If I have Touch ID registered to my device with multiple finger prints can I use any of them to access the app?

Yes, all registered fingerprints will have access to open the CenterState Bank App.

If I have someone’s finger print who is not on my account, registered to my device, will their finger print allow access to my account?

Yes, please keep in mind that the CenterState Bank App cannot discern between the fingerprints of individuals who are enrolled on the device and if they have permission to access your account. The app is only informed whether or not the fingerprint is valid, which means that it was successfully added to the device’s fingerprint repository, and not whether that finger print belongs to the owner of a specific username.

How do I access my other account(s) that I’m not using Touch ID on?

You will be able to login from the home page of the app, just hit Cancel to bring up the username and password login.

How many attempts do I have to login with my Touch ID?

After (3) unsuccessful attempts to use your registered fingerprint to access your account, you will be required to enter in the device’s pass code to re-enable Touch ID.

I’ve lost my mobile device that Touch ID is enabled on, what do I do?

Login to iCloud and wipe your device > then in iCloud go to ‘Find My iPhone’ app, select the device and erase that data on it. In addition, you may want to contact us so we can add proper notation to your account.

How do I turn off Touch ID?

There are a few ways to disable Touch ID: disable the feature within the Settings menu of the app or by deleting all fingerprints or disable the device pass code from the device’s Settings menu.
